Respecting the referendum result
It has been a hectic 10 weeks in politics and Brexit has been the most dominant issue. It is the defining issue of our times to say the least. During this period I have been resolute in supporting our Prime Minister and Government to get Brexit done. We politicians promised to respect the outcome of the referendum result. Some have abandoned this. I have not and I will continue to keep my promise to the voters of Northampton South.
Meeting local businesses
I have been meeting up up with businesses in Brackmills Industrial Estate to discuss their concerns and challenges preparing for Brexit
Working with High Street businesses to oppose Car Parking charge increases
I have been campaigning closely with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and Northampton Business Improvement District to oppose the County Council car parking increases.

Backing more police on our streets and tougher sentences for violent criminals
Met with the Home Secretary to get more policing money to Northamptonshire Police
Supporting our local nurseries
Kathryn and Hayley from Blackthorn nursery are always a delight to meet. Their nursery is rated outstanding, but is always on the lookout for fresh funding as their budgets are extremely tight. I have been helping them look at possible opportunities. Pictured with local Councillor Andy Kilbride
Working with the General Hospital for a new upgrade to the paediatric unit
I met with the CEO of Northampton General Hospital, Sonia Swart and her paediatric unit to help them get the funding for an upgraded Paediatric unit. I have been lobbying the Health Secretary, Matt Hancock for this on their behalf.

One of Northampton's best assets are our parks like Abington Park and Delapre Abbey. They are quite simply beautiful and I have been busy promoting them at every occasion.
